Weekly Running Count: 26 miles

This was a good week. Elder Patey made me run 26 miles over the whole week... so that's fun. At least a lot of other missionaries have told me that I look skinny... haha.

This past week we had some really good lessons with Gladys and Robert. They are progressing really well, and are inviting friends to listen to us. Last night we had a great family home evening with them and with the Pizarro family who live around the corner from them. Walter Pizarro is also our ward mission leader, and Gladys and Robert had a great time last night and felt really loved in their home.

We found a lot of new investigators this past week... but at the end of the week not very many progressed. It's disappointing, but we're still happy and working hard to find the people that really will progress. I know they are out there!!

Asado with Elder Edmonds, Elder Patey and Carlos Fernandez
Yesterday we had a Pday activity as a mission. We had a small devotional and then had a soccer tournament with all the zones. Our zone doesn't play very well, but we played surprisingly well until one of our sisters (who will remain nameless) accidentally scored a goal on our own team and then we had to go to penalty kicks and lost. Oh well. We then watched "Meet the Mormons," and I really enjoyed it. It was a fun activity and I got to see quite a few friends... but I felt really old because I don't know hardly anyone anymore. It seems as though most of my friends went home in February, March, and May. After this transfer I won't have many left, so I'll have to make some more!

Time is flying by, I can't believe how fast it is passing. Hay que aprovechar cada momento!! I love you all!

Love,
